This award was introduced by the Rotary Club of Iqaluit in 1995 and the first awards presented July 1, 1996. Award winners are listed below.
Criteria used for the selection of award winners are:
National Service - Participation with a national or nationally affiliated organization which has as one of its ambitions the betterment or advancement of
Canadians.
Community Service - Participation and leadership in community activities which improve the quality of life in the community of Iqaluit.
Volunteerism - A history of volunteerism with local, regional and/or national service groups.
Longevity of Service - Recognized participation over an extended period of time.
Residency - A minimum of 5 years in Iqaluit.
